Heather began her dance training at the age of four through the Royal Academy of Dance (English method), focusing on classical ballet, free movement studies and Russian, Hungarian and Polish folk dance (Character) studies, lyrical, jazz and tap. She graduated with her Royal Academy of Dance Teaching Certificate in 1999. Favorite credits include Frenchie Cabaret, Janet Five Kinds of Silence & Omnes Return to the Forbidden Planet (Parkland College). Some favorite professional credits include: Anarchy Cheerleader Weird Al Yankovic’s Poole Hat Tour (‘04), The Brat Pack (Solid Gold Dancer), Jamestown Settlement (Pocahontas Mother Tongue & Isabel Perry Season of the Witch), Theresita West Side Story, Mom/Tribe Hair, Go to Hell Kitty Chicago, Ethel Tofflemeier The Music Man, Estelle The Full Monty, ChaCha Grease, Mrs. White Clue, Jacqueline La Cage Aux Folles, A Christmas Carol, Elf & Too Darn Hot (TLTOTS). Heather has taught dance in both Illinois and Virginia for the past 28 years and directed/choreographed over 25 TYA productions on the TLTOTS stage.

Katie Engler is a professional music theatre performer and teaching artist. A recent transplant from Chicago, Katie is thrilled to now call Sullivan home, having taken on the role of Casting Associate at LTOTS. Among a wide array of performance credits, Katie also holds a M.M in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy from Carthage College, and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. When not performing, Katie operates a full-time private voice studio, where she is able to share her knowledge and passion for voice with her incredible students. As a working professional in the world of musical theatre, Katie continues to spend a lifetime devoted to the arts of voice, theatre, and dance, yet she prides herself most on helping her students build their sense of self-identity, guiding them on their path to becoming who they want to be, both as artists and as humans. Zach is delighted to return to the piano and sound board for the 2025-2026 Future Stars Season. He currently serves as the Music Director for the Theatre for Young ­Audiences Series, ­Broadway Boot Camp, and the TLTOTS ­Future Stars ­Program—where he ­began his musical career at the age of seven. Zach is a recent graduate of ­Millikin ­University, where he earned his B.M. in Vocal ­Music ­Education, and is continuing his ­journey as the ­Vocal ­Director at ­Mattoon High School and the Tech ­Communications Facilitator at the LIFT ­Center. He is also a four-time Chicago ­BroadwayWorld Award nominee for Best Regional Sound ­Design. ­Favorite LTOTS MD/Sound credits include ­Seussical Jr., Million Dollar Quartet, Frozen Jr., and Jersey Boys.
