The health and safety of The Little Theatre On The Square audiences, performers and staff is of the utmost importance.
With information changing daily, we are closely monitoring developments around Coronavirus (COVID-19), and we will look to the State of Illinois Department of Health and federal agencies such as the Center for Disease Control (“CDC”) for recommendations, guidance and direction. The latest updates will be posted on our website, Facebook Page and on our answering machine.
Unless otherwise directed by public health officials, all performances, public programs and events will go on as scheduled. If there are cancellations or changes to our schedule, we will notify all ticket holders by email at least 2 hours before the performance. Additionally, cancellation notices will be posted on our social media channels and outgoing voicemail.
To safeguard our audiences, performers and staff we are implementing additional sanitation measures throughout the lobby, bathrooms and theatre before each performance.
Anyone who is experiencing cold or flu symptoms, or who is not feeling well, is encouraged to stay home. Symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) are mild fever, dry cough, sore throat and malaise–the virus is not usually associated with a runny nose—though the incubation period can be as long as 14 days from infection. Please contact our Box Office at 217-728-7375 to make arrangements if you are unable to attend.
For your own health and safety, please click on the link below from the CDC regarding preventative measures you can take: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html
We remain vigilant, and we are prepared to make decisions based on current recommendations, as well as in response to changing conditions.
Thank you for your valued support of The Little Theatre On The Square.
