The 2011 Children’s Theatre will close the season with a musical adaptation of Judith Viorst’s classic story Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
From the moment he wakes up with gum in his hair, things just don’t go Alexander’s way. No wonder he wants to move to Austrailia, where everything is upside down. Moving to Austraila could turn a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day into a wonderful, terrific, really good day. This musical hit will turn the worst of days into something great!
Alexander … will be directed by former LTOTS actor Jerome Lowe, who was seen in last season’s productions of The 25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee (Mitch Mohoney) and Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Adrian). Lowe, who has served as Assistant Director and House Manager this summer, will make his directorial debut with Alexander …
Alexander … runs July 29-30; August 2, 4-6, 11-13 with all performances at 10:30 a.m. Ticket prices are $11.45. All audience members will have the chance to meet the cast after the show for pictures and autographs.
