Stimulating the imaginations of the young and young at heart by offering educational opportunities by The Little Theatre's professional staff of actors and technicians. 

It is the belief of S.T.A.R. that the artist can make an invaluable and unique contribution to the educational process and to the enrichment of an individual's life.  As an agent for change within a community context, the artist is the creative spark that can inspire one classroom, one teacher, one school district or one community to integrate the arts into its ongoing activities and become a vital part of everyone's learning experience. 

GOALS

* To enrich the lives of students through exposure to drama, theater, and dance.

* To demonstrate to educators startegies for utilizing performing arts to supplement existing curriculum.

* To outreach to rural schools. 

COMMITMENTS

1.    Adapt residencies to individual school's interest and needs.

2.    Integrate residencies with other areas of learning.

3.    Bring exciting professional theatre traveling performances into the school setting.

4.    Provide field trips to watch live theatrical performances and rehearsals, interact with theater artists, and tour backstage and shop facilities.

5.   Provide Dance and Drama Classes and Performances for area youth and adults.
